Singers' Summer Workshops

June 13th and 20th, 2016

7:30-9:00pm at

St. Martin's Episcopal Church

This summer the Guild is offering two Singers' Summer Workshops.  You and your singing friends will have the opportunity to participate in vocal workshops featuring baritone Chris Mooney as one of the instructors.

The workshops will be held on two Monday nights: June 13 and 20, from 7:30 pm until 9:00 pm at St. Martin's Episcopal Church on Jamestown Road.

The workshops will include topics such as producing a pleasing sound, posture, breath control, tips on reading a new piece of music and being a good choir member.  You will receive a piece of music which is appropriate to perfom in a worship setting that you may keep. We hope you will attend both evenings because the second will build on topics covered on the first night, but you may attend either one.

Ticket prices are only $15 for one session and $20 for two sessions. The price includes one choral music selection and handouts provided by our instructors.  Topics are useful for singers of all ages and skill levels.  We hope you will invite other friends who like to sing and share these informative, fun evenings with us.
