Since 1975, the Williamsburg Choral Guild has been presenting choral music of the finest quality for Williamsburg-area audiences. The Guild performs a variety of music, from Bach and Mozart to Vaughan Williams and Fauré as well as many contemporary composers. Our concerts featuring lighter fare have included jazz standards, opera choruses, Broadway tunes, spirituals, folk songs and other favorites.

Now in his eighth season with the Guild, Artistic Director-Conductor Jay BeVille continues to guide the organization to great musical achievement with a reputation for excellence. His repertoire includes stimulating programs that will both challenge and entertain.

The Guild is an all-volunteer community chorus of over 90 men and women with a passion for choral music and a profound love of singing. The sense of community is fostered through collaborations with other area musical organizations, such as the Williamsburg Symphonia, the College of William & Mary Choirs, the First Baptist Church of Williamsburg Gospel Choir and orchestral ensembles from the Virginia and Richmond Symphonies. Professional singers drawn from the Richmond, Tidewater and Washington, DC areas are often featured soloists in Guild performances.

The Williamsburg Choral Guild is a member of Chorus America, a national association dedicated to transforming communities by the beauty and power of choral singing.
