More ambitious and elaborate than his famous Requiem, the Mass in C Minor soars with an unequaled passion and intricacy that reflects the dramatic family events that led to its creation. A great mystery surrounds the question of what prompted him to begin—then set aside—this truly magnificent work. Was it unfinished or just incomplete?

The Marriage of Figaro could be considered the cornerstone of standard operatic repertoire. One of Mozart's most successful works, it is a comic opera that reaches a level of humanity few tragedies have ever achieved. It hides deeply emotional roots within its tuneful and infectious music. Our presentation will include the Overture, the Count's recitative and aria ("Hai già vinta la causa?" and "Vendro mentrio sospiro"), and "Canzonetta sul'aria", a duet between Susanna and the Countess.
