How can I help?
We're glad you asked!
The Choral Guild is a resourceful and ambitious all-volunteer nonprofit organization. Our expenses are high (a chamber orchestra for one concert costs $12,000), and we prioritize keeping ticket prices affordable so that our concerts are accessible. Despite our limited budget, we provide high quality choral music performances and are a popular and well-respected contributor to Williamsburg's vibrant Arts community.
We rely upon the generosity of our supporters. Here's what you can do:
Come to our concerts.
- Buy season tickets.
- Spread the word about our performances.
- Give concert tickets as gifts.
- Invite a friend!
Donate.
- Make checks payable to Williamsburg Choral Guild and mail them to P.O. Box 1864, Williamsburg, VA 23187. All donations are tax-deductible.
Support our fundraising efforts.
- Donate goods or services to our Auction and Mardi Gras Party and attend the event.
- Join us at our Barnes & Noble Bookfair and designate the Guild to receive a portion of the proceeds from your purchases.
- Consign your high-quality furniture and home décor items at the Velvet Shoestring. Ask that the proceeds be credited to the Williamsburg Choral Guild's account.
Encourage your business to support us. Your business can reap the benefits of marketing to our active, engaged community of singers and friends. Consider the following options, or contact us with your own ideas!
- Advertise in our programs.
- Underwrite a specific expense: the soloists for a particular concert, the printing of the Auction catalog, the mailing of our season brochure, etc.
- Purchase a table for eight at the Auction.
Stay informed.
- Contact us to join our mailing list.
