The Williamsburg Choral Guild

Established in 1975, the Williamsburg Choral Guild is a mixed SATB all-volunteer chorus that presents three major concerts each season.  The Guild enjoys the enthusiastic support of the community as it fulfills its mission to bring magnificent choral music to the Greater Williamsburg destination.

Artistic Director/Conductor Jay BeVille, who assumed leadership of the Guild in 2002, consistently offers creative programming, introduces new works, involves young singers and highlights professional vocal soloists.

Mr. BeVille has announced that he will be retiring at the end of the 2017-18 season.

Artistic Director / Conductor Search 

The Guild is seeking a highly skilled artistic director to lead the organization beginning in July, 2018, the commencement of the 2018-19 season.  Primary responsibilities of this part-time position include selecting repertoire, conducting rehearsals and performances, developing budgets and auditioning new members.  Application review will begin immediately.  Applications will be accepted until January 10, 2018.

Christmas with the Choral Guild
The Williamsburg Choral Guild celebrates the season of giving with its annual gift to the community – a family-friendly concert of holiday favorites. The concert features traditional Christmas selections, arrangements of holiday music by Handel, Willcocks, and Rutter and a Carol Sing-along.
